A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed during an altercation on a quiet Benalla street overnight.

A man has been stabbed during a fight on a quiet Benalla street overnight.
Police were called to reports of an altercation on Jensen Ct at 1am on January 30 where they found a 38-year-old man had been stabbed.
He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, before police arrested a 26-year-old man at a nearby address.
He will be interviewed by police and will assist police with their inquiries.
