People living along Mildura’s eastern border with the Murray have been urged to evacuate with fast-rising flood waters heading to Nichols Point.

Residents of Mildura’s eastern border with the swollen Murray River have been urged to evacuate as flood waters continue to rise.
An emergency alert has been issued for parts of Mildura including Nichols Point and Bruces Bend with water threatening Mildura Racecourse and the Riverside Golf Club.
The VicEmergency website also showed a Watch and Act for large swathes of the Sunraysia region, including Mildura, Red Cliffs, Irymple, Merbein and Wentworth
