Worker winched from roof at Fawkner McDonald’s
Emergency services have helped rescue an injured worker from the roof of Fawkner McDonald’s in dramatic scenes on Monday.

Fawkner McDonald’s was at the centre of dramatic scenes as paramedics and firefighters rushed to the aid of an injured man on Monday.
Customers and workers had to take a break from their burgers and fries after emergency services were called to the store on Sydney Rd in Fawkner about 11.30am.

Channel 7 News Melbourne reported fire crews completed a high angle rescue after a 50-year-old worker fell from a ladder and onto another level of the roof.
Paramedics arrived at the McDonald’s about 11.30am to provide medical assistance.
MICA paramedic David Kervin told Channel 7 prior to Fire Rescue Victoria removing the patient, paramedics provided pain relief, with the man suffering a lower leg injury.
He was on the roof for 45 minutes.
“A man believed to be in his 50s has been taken to the Northern Hospital in what’s believed to be a stable condition with lower body injuries,” Ambulance Victoria said in a statement.
