Police were left checking hospitals for an injured motorcyclist after a man fled from a collision in Blackburn North.

Nunawading highway patrol Sergeant Webb said a 42-year-old Templestowe man was driving his Land Rover station wagon along Joseph St about 1.45pm on Saturday, June 1 when the incident occurred.

Sgt Webb said as the driver went to turn into a driveway his car’s driver door was struck by a motorcyclist.
