Camberwell’s Wendy Trinet lived many little girls’ dream when she was a youngster growing up in Paris.
Her great grandmother was a leading French stylist and Trinet said many of her famous crochet dresses, vests and hats were passed down to her.
She whiled away her childhood days creating dress designs of her own, and as she grew older she attended a fashion school in London before meeting her husband and moving to Melbourne.
When her son Floyd was born in 2016 she said it was love at first sight, and so the name of her new fashion label, Eyes on Floyd, was formed.
Now a mother of two, she said business was thriving and her dream was to grow her company further so she could employ others.
She also said she hoped to one day see her designs stocked in stores overseas, particularly in her native France.
