The Mulgrave centre was targeted by crooks in what is believed to be unrelated incidents just days apart in late February.
Police have released CCTV stills of people they wish to speak to in relation to both incidents.

Glen Waverley Constable Rhys Allan said it was believed the man took the bread to a car and drove off.
In the second incident, about 10.21am on February 26, a man entered a department store empty-handed and went into the fitting rooms with a grey long-sleeve top, khaki pants and white socks.
It is alleged he left the fitting rooms wearing the items and then the store without paying.
Constable Allan said the man was confronted outside the complex by the department store manager but denied taking the clothes and left on foot.
