INXS fans never forget the moment when rock legend Michael Hutchence roared the lyrics of New Sensation into his microphone at Wembley Stadium in 1991.
Millions of fans screamed as soon as Hutchence sung the words “Live baby Live”.
Tribute band INXSIVE will pay homage to Hutchence and the band at its upcoming Wheelers Hill Satellite Lounge performance.
INXSIVE frontman David Graham said audiences around Australia loved the show.
“We’re an authentic tribute band who drop the pretence. We’re all about getting the crowd involved to make sure they have a great night,” Graham said.
He said the band played INXS’ greatest hits, giving them a host of songs to choose from.
“We play the classics including Never Tear Us Apart, New Sensation, Need You Tonight and we play earlier songs including To Look At You and other much-loved hits,” he said.
He said Hutchence captured the imagination of audiences globally.
“He was an enigmatic rock star who pushed the boundaries. He was an extremely talented singer and song writer,” he said.
“Our show will appeal to INXS fans and lovers of classic OZ rock.”
INXSIVE will perform at Satellite Lounge, Wheelers Hill on Saturday, October 21.
