North Ringwood Shopping Centre ram raided for cigarettes

Thieves on the hunt for cigarettes ram raided a tobacco store at the North Ringwood Shopping Centre.

The Ringwood North Shopping Centre was ram raided in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

A tobacco store in Melbourne’s east has been ram raided with thieves making off with a stash of cigarettes.

The thieves drove a car into the Ringwood North Shopping Centre and reversed the into the security shutters of a cigarette store at 1.50am on Tuesday.

Police believe the offenders stole boxes of cigarettes before fleeing the scene in other cars.

The Ringwood North Bakers Delight was damaged during the burglary.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
