Here’s your chance to muscle in on a major health and fitness centre close to a major shopping centre in Melbourne’s east
The Next Gen fitness centre at 21 Members Drive, is up for grabs after hitting the market with Colliers International.
The property — close to Westfield Doncaster and the Eastern Freeway — comes with the spacious gym as well as a spa and a pool. It also boasts synthetic tennis courts on-site with a cafe and licensed bar.
Colliers International real estate agent Rob Joyes said the offering was “unique”felt four words came to mind when describing the sprawling centre.
“(Its) Quite quirky and unique,” he said.
“The closest thing I could compare it to the Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club when you think about it, there’s not too many other club facilities [like it].
“Normally you see a fitness first or a gym on it’s own that is just in any old sort of building but you don’t often see something like this.”
There has been plenty of interest from potential buyers with two weeks to go until the expressions of interest period closes.
Providing a 15-year lease with multiple options, the 10,950sq m site has had plenty of inspections.
“It’s an investment at the end of the day, there’s a lot of funds out there that are looking for a healthcare wellness to put in their portfolio,” Mr Joyes said.
“There’s been quite a reasonable Asian demographic inquiring because they’ve been involved in a lot of the development in the area and townhouses.
“The health care funds, high-net worth privates looking to invest sort of circa $30m but it’s been well received.”
