Forest Hill Chase has completed a revamp of its popular food court just in time for the centre’s 55th birthday celebrations.
Dining in the Level 1 food court is set to be much more enjoyable, relaxing and convenient, with a new look, furniture, parents’ facilities and an interactive children’s play space.
The old plastic tables and chairs have been replaced with Scandinavian-style banquet seating, where electronic charging stations are on offer, and greenery has become a feature of the space.
An enclosed playground has been introduced to allow parents to relax, while a play area can also be found in the upgraded parents’ room.
The parents’ room now includes private feeding rooms, a family bathroom and food and bottle preparation space.
The makeover follows the arrival of several new food offerings in recent months, including The Humble Baker, specialising in Vietnamese Banh Mi rolls, Asian-inspired bakery Breadtop, and Capricho, which offers Latin American-style chicken.
And more are on the way, with La Dolce Pizzeria and dumpling store Magic Cuisine soon to open.
The renewed space will be officially launched on Forest Hill Chase’s 55th birthday on December 6, when the centre will host a day of family fun, including free frozen yoghurt, popcorn, a pop-up relaxation station, balloon artists, DJs and face painting.
Marketing manager Ebru Kurt said retailers across the centre would be offering special deals and discounts, while centre management would give away $550 every 55 minutes past the hour to celebrate 55 years.
