THE Cloke family home in Plymouth Rd, Ringwood North, is up for sale.

Former Richmond and Collingwood great David and his wife, Julie, have raised their five children - Collingwood’s Travis, former AFL players Jason and Cameron and daughters Jodie and Teigan - in the home for almost 20 years.

New owners will have good reason to run victory laps around this 930sq m property.

It has coped well with the active family and Teigan’s menagerie of pets that included chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs, cats, turtles, cockatoos and Shetland ponies.

Ms Cloke said the double-storey house had the football kicked over it more than a few times when the boys were young.

“I could never get the kids inside. They were always outside,” she said.

Dubbed “Teigan’s Way” after their youngest daughter, the home has been revamped with the help of eldest son Jason, a qualified builder who runs his own carpentry business, Jason Cloke Carpentry.

Sleek gas fireplaces, white plantation blinds, minimalist tones and sassy fittings punctuate the contemporary interior.

Along with vast living zones, it’s also the perfect party venue with a swimming pool, garden cabana and marble-top outdoor kitchen.

The triple garage provides further entertaining options.

The kitchen is spacious and features a stone waterfall island bench.

Four bedrooms, a living retreat, a study, two ensuites and a shared bathroom are on the upper level.

Front and back balconies will give future owners a chance to keep an eye on the next generation of football stars.

Living around the corner from Quambee Reserve was also convenient for the young and aspiring football stars. They’d kick a ball while their mum walked the ponies around the oval.

“We absolutely love the area,” Julie said.

“The children have all gone to fantastic schools, the community and neighbours have been terrific and we’ve never looked back.”

Fletchers Ringwood agent Traci Stella has listed the property in an expressions of interest campaign closing on March 18 at 5pm.

The price is listed between $850,000 and $950,000.

“Expect the unexpected,” Ms Stella said.

“The house has been brought to a very modern standard. It looks sophisticated yet there is a nice and homely vibe.

“Those wanting a great party house will like it. There’s lots of space and the back yard is very private.”
