Clayton: Four men arrested after breaking into Clayton Rd car yard
A sharp-eyed driver has busted four men allegedly trying to break into cars at a yard near a major Melbourne highway.

A group of men have been arrested after a driver noticed them allegedly rummaging through a car yard in Melbourne’s east.
A woman was driving along Princes Highway in Clayton when she spotted four men allegedly trying to break into cars in the yard at the Clayton Rd intersection about midnight.
She then called police and kept an eye on them until officers arrived and arrested the men, which included a 25-year-old Dandenong man on outstanding warrants.
The man was bailed and is expected to be charged over his role in the incident at a later date.
Another Dandenong man, aged 28, a 17-year-old youth and a 23-year-old Ringwood man are expected to be charged on summons.
Their alleged offences include car tampering and attempted car theft, criminal damage and being equipped to steal.
