A young Forest Hill woman has died after crashing her car into a tree on Burwood Highway Sunday night.
Police have been told the woman was driving along the highway about 11.30pm when she lost control of her car in Burwood East.
The vehicle left the road and crashed into a tree.
The female driver, a 25-year-old Forest Hill woman, died at the scene.
She was the only occupant of the car.
