Aunt Billies cafe is one of Blackburn’s favourite brunch spots, and it’s easy to see why.

The Surrey Rd cafe is regularly packed out with customers chowing down on sensational looking dishes.

The Aunt Billies Instagram page has more than 2300 followers.

The menu changes regularly, but its roots are firmly in a fusion of Modern Australian and Middle Eastern food.

Cafe co-owner Felipe Bueno said the Mediterreanean breakfast was a popular choice with its poached eggs, sujuck sausage and grilled halloumi.

Aunt Billies does the classics well like smashed avocado or eggs benedict, but is also not afraid to try something a little different like its baklava pancakes.

Other popular and ultra-Instagrammable dishes include the passionfruit panna cotta with roasted peach and raspberry gel, and the coconut pudding.

Aunt Billies underwent a renovation last year, and now has a modern timber fitout with both indoor and outdoor dining areas.

The cafe is open everyday from 7am-4pm and is at 184 Surrey Rd, Blackburn.
