Thousands of new students are getting their first taste of university life with O-Week in full swing at campuses across Melbourne.
And Deakin University’s Burwood campus has put on a warm welcome for all its first year students, with plenty of parties, info sessions, activities and tours.
The university has more than 6600 students commencing their studies as part of trimester one at Burwood.
The top five courses with the most enrolments include the Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Exercise and Sport science, Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Psychology (honours) and the Bachelor of Psychological science.
On Thursday, students got into teams and did an Amazing Race through the campus doing various sports activities including soccer, basketball and laser tag.
Others had to do quirky challenges including eating dry Weet Bix and egg and spoon races.
Leader went along to capture the teams in action – see if you can spot yourself or someone you know in our photo gallery.
