Broadmeadows: Three people arrested after pursuit through Essendon and Moonee Ponds
After spotting an allegedly stolen car in Broadmeadows, police were eventually forced to use stop sticks to try and end a pursuit.

Drugs and a firearm were seized after a lengthy police pursuit through Melbourne’s north western suburbs.
The dramatic chase started when police saw an allegedly stolen car in Broadmeadows and began following it as it led them through Pascoe Vale, Essendon and Moonee Ponds before arriving in Keilor Downs on Wednesday evening.
The car was then allegedly ditched before the female driver got into a van and fled the scene.
Police used stop sticks to disable the van in Westmeadows. A later search allegedly revealed drugs and a firearm.
A 29-year-old Lalor woman is facing charges of reckless conduct endangering life, possess firearm and theft of motor vehicle.
A Meadow Heights man, 30, was charged with dangerous driving while pursued by police, theft of motor vehicle and reckless conduct endangering life.
A 30-year-old Prahran woman, who will face court at a later date after being bailed, was charged with theft of motor vehicle and possession of methylamphetamine.
