The male driver of an allegedly stolen vehicle that collided with a police car, hospitalising three officers, has been released on bail.
Police last week alleged a stolen blue MG sedan was travelling down Bright Street when the 20-year-old male driver was involved in a crash with a police vehicle before hitting a pole just before 1pm on Thursday.
The driver and both of his passengers were hospitalised in stable conditions.
Three police officers were also hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have since charged the alleged driver, from California Gully, and a 16-year-old girl with theft of a motor vehicle.
The driver, who was also charged with bail offences, has since been released on bail.
He will return to Bendigo Magistrates Court later this year.
The 16-year-old girl was also bailed and will later appear in court.
Another passenger, a 15-year-old boy, remains in hospital and is yet to be interviewed by police.
Investigations are ongoing.
