A man is in hospital after he accidentally stabbed himself in the head while working at a chicken farm near Bendigo.

A man is in hospital after he accidentally stabbed himself in the head while working at a chicken farm at Lockwood, near Bendigo, on Wednesday morning.
WorkSafe confirmed it is investigating the incident after paramedics were called to the farm just after 11am.
Ambulance Victorian said the man received upper body injuries and was taken to Bendigo Health in a stable condition.
The chicken farm was contacted for comment.
There have been 14 workplace fatalities for 2022, five fewer than at the same time last year.
