A man has been hospitalised after he was reportedly hit by lighting at Epsom.
Paramedics were called to the Midland Hwy around 11.50am on Thursday following reports a man in his 40s had been hit by lightning.
He was taken to Bendigo Health in a stable condition for observation before being discharged, Bendigo Health confirmed.
Wednesday saw more than 100,000 lightning strikes across the state as a massive thunderstorm rolled over Central Victoria, Melbourne and Gippsland.
The storm was caused after a cool change blew in after days of hot and muggy weather.
