At least 50 sheep have been killed after a cattle truck rolled on a Bendigo road, with emergency services rushing to round up the survivors.
Animal welfare officers are on the scene putting down injured sheep as police, firefighters and SES crews help round up survivors on the Bendigo Highway.
Police believe the truck left the Axedale-Goorong Rd about 11am.
The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene.
At this stage it is unclear why the truck rolled.

Leading Senior Constable Todd Deary said Bendigo highway patrol officers would conduct an investigation into the cause of the crash.
