Emergency service crews have closed a Bendigo church carpark after a sinkhole opened overnight.
A Victoria State Emergency Service spokeswoman said a Bendigo unit was called to reports of a landslide at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Flora Hill at 10.10pm on Tuesday.
Initial reports said the large, growing sinkhole was at Houston St and Havlin St East, at Flora Hill.
The SES spokeswoman said initial reports said the sinkhole was 10m to 15m in size, however the hole was at most 15cm in size.
The SES taped off the area and left it in the hands of the City of Greater Bendigo.
The council said since the damage was on private property it was left in the hands of the land owner.
