A Bendigo man’s DNA will be tested as evidence after police charge him with sexual offences.
Charlie Brasch, 20, fronted Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday for the first time for a filing hearing ahead of a committal mention.
Mr Brasch was supported by a young woman.
The court heard police had obtained DNA evidence from Mr Brasch, which would be analysed.
Further details of the allegations were not mentioned in open court.
The case was adjourned to April 16 for committal mention.
Committal proceedings in the Magistrates’ Court determine if there is sufficient evidence for a trial.
Mr Brasch remains in the community on summons.
