A woman has been taken to hospital after a tree fell onto her car in the state’s east.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Moe-Rawson Rd/Hunter Rd in Tanjil South — 8km north of Moe — at 9.20am on Friday.

“A woman believed to be in her 20s was treated and taken to the Traralgon Public Hospital in a stable condition,” an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said.
