Tyers crash: woman flown to Royal Melbourne Hospital
A woman has been flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital after a crash at Tyers, where the road was blocked in both directions.

One person has been flown to hospital after a crash on a country road in Victoria’s southeast.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Tyers-Walhalla Rd at Tyers about 3pm Wednesday.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said the patient, a woman in her 20s, was flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition with upper body injuries.
A VICSES spokesman said VICSES Morwell unit volunteers worked to successfully free the trapped patient before they were taken into care of paramedics.
A CFA spokesman said three CFA units from Yallourn, Tyers and Glengarry assisted SES with the road rescue.

Tyers-Walhalla Rd was blocked in both directions and was later cleared.
The incident was deemed safe at 3.33pm.
