Two people have been arrested following an alleged stabbing in west Gippsland.
It’s believed the incident occurred after a trio of men got into an argument at a Windsor Ave address in Warragul about 8.30am on Monday.
A 25-year-old Warragul man, a 23-year-old Traralgon man and a 30-year-old Warragul man sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospital under police guard,” a police spokesperson said.
On Tuesday, two of the men were arrested and interviewed by detectives.
“The 25-year-old Warragul man has been charged with affray, aggravated burglary, intention to cause injury and criminal damage,” the police spokesperson said.
“The Warragul man has been bailed to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court on March 19.
“The 23-year-old Traralgon man has been released pending further enquiries.”
The spokesperson added police believe the parties are known to each other and investigations into the alleged affray remain ongoing.
