Police investigate fire lit at a Lowanna College
Police are investigating after a fire broke out in a central Gippsland school.

Police are investigating after a fire broke out at a school in Newborough on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to Lowanna College about 11.30am after reports a fire had been lit.
Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) were at the scene within five minutes of the call and found a fire in a heating system.
A building filled with smoke and there was concern over chemicals being stored close to where the fire was.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters from FRV and CFA quickly extinguished the fire with the incident declared under control at 11.42am.
Students were evacuated but fortunately no one was injured.
Police are continuing to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
