Woman escapes crash, while man is trapped after accident in Gippsland

A woman has escaped with minor injuries from a car accident in Gippsland that left another trapped.

A man in his sixties is trapped in his car after the car veered off the road and crashed into a fence in Gippsland.

Emergency services were called to reports of a car crash on Monash Way, in Yinnar about 2.30pm on Wednesday.

Upon arrival they found one male passenger, 68, semi conscious and trapped in the car. There was another female passenger aged in her sixties as well.

It is believed the female passenger escaped with very minor injuries.

Both patients were taken to Traralgon Public Hospital.
