On Saturday hundreds of festival goers gathered on Churchill Island to enjoy the Ocean Sounds festival.

Smiling groups of friends and families enjoyed the sunshine and ocean views as musicians played on and on into the night.

The festival kicked off with a welcome to country before local musician Mark Howard took the stage.

Food trucks dished out delicious bites to eat while the music continued with Little Green, Kee’ahn, and Kim Churchill.

As the sun set The Pierce Brothers and headline act Tash Sultana took the stage before crowds flocked out of the venue for the night.

Not only did the event have some of Australia’s best acts it also showcased and local wines, cheeses and gourmet food vans.
