Morwell: Man injured after alleged assault, while another man was arrested
A man has been injured following an alleged assault in Gippsland, with a 51-year-old Morwell man helping police with their investigation.

Police have arrested a man following an alleged assault in Gippsland.
It’s alleged a 51-year-old Morwell man got out of a vehicle and assaulted another man on Commercial Rd in Morwell about 1.30pm on Monday.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said paramedics were called to the scene and the man was taken to Latrobe Regional Hospital in a stable condition with upper body injuries.
A police spokesperson said the Morwell man was arrested a short time later and is assisting police with their inquiries.
