A Meeniyan woman has tragically died following a crash between a car and truck on the South Gippsland Highway.

A woman has died following a serious crash between a car and a truck in Koonwarra.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of the South Gippsland Highway and Caithness Rd following reports of a collision about 10.20am on Tuesday.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said the driver of the car, an 18-year-old Meeniyan woman, died at the scene.
The driver of the truck, a 37-year-old man from Tarlee in South Australia, wasn’t seriously injured.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined.
All lanes of the South Gippsland Highway between Caithness Rd and Minns Rd remain closed.
Motorists are advised to use the Bass Highway, Inverloch-Venus Bay Rd and Tarwin Lower Rd.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash cam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
