Man drowns at Dalkeith Heights Retirement Village on Hazelwood Rd, Traralgon
A man has drowned in a pool at a retirement home in the Latrobe Valley despite the best efforts of paramedics to revive him.

A man has died after drowning in a pool at a retirement village in Gippsland.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the Dalkeith Heights Retirement Village on Hazelwood Rd in Traralgon where a man was found face down in the water about 1.30pm on Wednesday.
A police spokeswoman said paramedics tried to save the man, but he died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner and the circumstances surrounding the man’s death are not suspicious.
