Man and woman injured and taken to hospital after car and truck collide on Maffra-Rosedale Rd, Tinamba

A man and woman have been taken to hospital after a car and truck crashed on a country road in central Gippsland.

Two people have been injured and taken to hospital following a car and truck collision on a rural road in the state’s east.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Maffra-Rosedale Rd in Tinamba at 11.25am on Wednesday.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said a woman in her 40s was taken to Latrobe Regional Hospital in a stable condition with an upper body injury.

The spokesperson also said a man in his 30s was taken to Central Gippsland Health Service in Sale in a stable condition with upper body injuries.
