Latrobe Valley pedestrian killed after early morning bus strike
Police are appealing for public help after a man was hit and killed by a bus in the Latrobe Valley overnight.

Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a bus in the Latrobe Valley overnight.
It is understood the man was hit by the bus about 1.30am Tuesday morning, and died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their investigations.
Police are yet to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the collision and investigations are ongoing.
So far 115 lives have already been lost on Victorian roads in 2022, including 22 pedestrians, compared to 97 deaths over the same period in 2021.
