Inverloch home destroyed by ‘accidental’ blaze
A family of six and their dog managed to escape their burning Inverloch home before it went up in flames in an accidental blaze.

A family’s home has been destroyed in an “accidental” blaze in Inverloch.
Emergency services were called to Veronica St after reports of a fire in a bedroom about 1.30pm on Tuesday.
A CFA spokesperson said the house was engulfed in flames when five vehicles arrived.
It’s believed a family of six and their dog managed to escape before flames ripped through the house, destroying it.
The fire was declared under control by 2pm.
The spokesperson wouldn’t confirm what started the blaze but said the cause was accidental.
This is the second house fire to rock the coastal town this week after firefighters were called to Ullathornes Rd about 8.30pm on Monday.
The blaze, that started in a bedroom, was under control by 9pm.
Fortunately no-one was inside the house at the time of the incident.
CFA Inverloch have urged the community to stay vigilant of fire hazards and ensure smoke alarms are working.
They said both fires could have been prevented.
