Horror weekend on Gippsland roads leaves three dead, one injured
Three people died in separate incidents on Gippsland roads over the weekend, leaving the community devastated.

Gippsland is in mourning after a horror weekend which saw three people killed and one injured on regional roads. .
Callum Wood, 17 of Sale, lost his life in Heyfield after the car he was a passenger in crashed into a tree on Saturday night about 9pm.
Callum’s uncle, Jamie Dorning, told the Herald Sun the “bubbly” teen was doing an apprenticeship in plumbing and had a bright future ahead of him.
“He was everybody’s best friend, he was everybody’s second son,” Mr Dorning said.
The driver, a 19-year-old Coongulla man, was flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It is understood the pair were driving home after going to KFC in Traralgon for dinner.
A man in his 70s also died after his car left the road and crashed into a tree in Walkerville, near Fish Creek on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to Fish Creek-Walkerville Rd about 4.55pm, May 22.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.
Another man, aged 37, lost his life following reports of a motorbike accident in Tanjil South on Sunday night.
Emergency services were called to a private property on Jalna Park Rd about 5pm where they treated the man who was in a critical condition.
He was placed in an air ambulance but he sadly died on the way to the hospital.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
It comes after a primary school-aged child was involved in a motorbike accident in Yallourn.
Paramedics were called about 2.40pm, May 21 before the child was treated for a back injury and taken to hospital in a stable condition.
This year 98 people have died on Victorian roads, up 12 from last year.
