Whether you loved their burgers or ice-cream, anyone who visited Phillip Island in the 90s can remember eating at Dutchies.
Now the Newhaven joint is up for sale and you can be the owner for a cool $1.25 million.
Ray White Phillip Island real estate agent Yvette Tancheff said the building is iconic.
“It was a very successful business when it was operating many years ago and it’s in a brilliant location,” Ms Tancheff said.
“It’s right at the entrance of Phillip Island and very visual.”
The 1 Forrest Ave property is two storeys and has a total floor space of approximately 205sq m on an allotment of about 654sq m.
With permits in place, the ground floor space is fully fitted out to operate as a food outlet or another business opportunity.
Ms Tancheff said a buyer could set up the ground floor “anyway they wanted”.
“We’ve had inquiries from medical workers looking at putting consulting rooms there,” she said.
Cafe and bakery owners have also expressed interest.
Ms Tancheff said the tables outside are original and have lasted throughout the years.
“Everything is in immaculate condition,” she said.
The second level is fitted as a residence and has three bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, living and dining area.
