From industry veterans with decades of experience, to young guns with hunger to change the game, The Bass Coast News has named the region’s top real estate agents.
Agents were chosen by their firm based on their volumes of sales, community contributions and how they have made a mark in the Bass Coast and surrounding areas.
Here are the Bass Coast’s top 15 real estate agents.
Kristien Formosa – Ray White Phillip Island
With two decades of experience, Kristien Formosa prides himself on delivering accurate advice and great customer service.
He established Ray White Phillip Island in 2007 and has won numerous awards at both a franchise and industry level.
Mr Formosa said Bass Coast was a special place to live and work.
“We couldn’t achieve the results we do without the support of the community,” he said.
“We put customer service at the forefront of everything we do, and will continue to do so into the future.”
According to realestate.com.au, Mr Formosa has sold 99 properties on the island in the past year.
The father of three has been living in the region for 40 years and is a familiar face within the community.
He is heavily involved with local football and netball clubs and Cowes Primary School.
When he is away from the office, he loves cooking and playing golf.
Bec Anderson – Ray White Phillip Island
Before becoming a leading sales executive, Ms Anderson worked in banking where she developed a range of skills that have helped her in the real estate industry.
Her success comes from repeat clients and referrals from vendors and purchasers.
“For me its all about providing exceptional service, building great relationships, which in the end leads to great sales results.,” she said.
“I have a genuine passion for property, am a people pleaser by nature, and like to ensure that every interaction is positive.”
The self-proclaimed ‘property matchmaker’ has sold 54 properties on the island in the past 12 months and was placed in the top three per cent of sales professionals in the Ray White Group for 2020/2021.
Mick Chambers – Alex Scott and Staff Wonthaggi
Born and raised in Wonthaggi, Mick Chambers has extensive knowledge of the area.
His family grew up in the mining era and were involved in local council for many years.
Before working as a real estate agent, Mr Chambers spent time in the building industry.
He has sold 63 properties in the past 12 months which proves why is a leading agent in the Bass Coast.
Mr Chambers is professional and well equipped who gets the job done in the most efficient way possible.
Fiona McMahon-Hughes – Ray White Inverloch
After growing up in Inverloch, Fiona McMahon-Hughes has invaluable experience and local knowledge in real estate, property management and holiday sector.
She is dedicated, driven and believes in exceptional customer service.
In the past 12 months, Ms McMahon-Hughes has sold 52 properties in Inverloch.
Her hobbies include stand up paddle boarding and walking her dog.
Joshua Dunstan – OBrien Real Estate Judith Wright
With 13 years experience in the industry, Joshua Dunstan has established himself as one of the most well respected and accomplished agents in the area.
Mr Dunstan formerly managed a broad acre cropping property which he believes helped him gain a ‘can do’ attitude.

For Chase Watters real estate is in his blood.
He is a second generation agent after his father Cameron Watters spent years in the industry.
Mr Watters said his dad was his inspiration.
“He always spoke about building meaningful relationships with buyers and vendors,” he said.
Before he started working for Alex Scott and Staff in 2016, Mr Watters worked as a carpenter for 10 years.
The Cowes resident prides himself on his knowledge and customers service which has helped him sell 68 properties on the island in the past year.
The down to earth agent is the founder of Victorian Honda Club and worked for the SES and Rotary Club.
Adam Leys – Stockdale and Leggo Inverloch
With 10 years experience in the industry, Adam Leys is the director of the Stockdale and Leggo Inverloch office.
He previously worked in the media and advertising industries which has allowed him to bring a wealth of knowledge to his job.
Mr Leys said his greatest strength is his attention to detail and persistent drive.
“Selling, buying and renting real estate can be a very complex and stressful process so I always try to keep things as simple as possible for all parties,” he said.

Jaime Morris –OBrien Real Estate Judith Wright
Jaime Morris is known as an ambitious and trustworthy person who has been part of the Phillip Island community for most of her life.
She began working in the industry in 2014 and has sold 45 properties on the island in the past year.

Aminah Hart – Andersen Property Specialists
This superstar real estate agent has made her mark in the industry, selling 163 properties in the past 12 months.
With decades of experience in advertising, marketing, counselling and psychology, Aminah Hart decided to combine her expertise in partnership with her husband Scott Andersen.
Together they created Andersen Property Specialists, a family-run real estate agent across the Bass Coast and South Gippsland.
“Starting a business with my husband was a gamble, as it would mean we live and work together,” she said.
“But we seem to make a fantastic team and we’re very proud of the family business we’ve created.”
Ms Hart is best known to be professional, supportive and knowledgeable.
“I believe that real estate is do much more than just transactional,” she said.
“It’s a huge event in people’s lives often underpinned by emotion and vulnerability as well as the upsides.”
Ms Hart said her interest in human behaviour and ability to listen allows her to a succeed with both sellers and buyers.
Greg Price – Alex Scott and Staff Cowes
With more than 25 years experience, Greg Price has a strong reputation in the industry.
He is trustworthy, reliable and dedicated to achieving the best results for his clients.
Born and raised in Phillip Island, his local knowledge of the market and property is second to none.
He is widely regarded as one of the districts best agents and real estate auctioneers and is as passionate about the property he is selling.
Mr Price said his client base is generational.

Jon Taylor – Ray White Phillip Island

Starting in real estate in 1988, Kevin Mahon has gained vast experience and local knowledge in all aspects of the industry.
His focus is on creating value for his clients with much of his business coming from referrals.
Mr Mahon has lived in Inverloch since 1977 and is passionate about his family and the local community.
According to realestate.com.au, Mr McMahon has sold 49 properties in Inverloch over the past year.
Scott Lethbridge – Garth Lisle Property Consultants San Remo
Scott Lethbridge is a fully licensed and REIV certified real estate agent who uses his skills and knowledge to succeed.
As the owner and director of Garth Lisle Property Consultants, Mr Lethbridge strives to get the best results for his clients.

The family man has called San Remo home since 2013 and this has allowed him to have great knowledge of the area.

Jo Ginn – Alex Scott and Staff Inverloch
After selling 64 properties in the past year in Inverloch, it’s no wonder Jo Ginn is one of the best real estate agents in town.
With more than 16 years in the industry, Ms Ginn is known to be honest, professional and knowledgeable.
“What I find important is understanding the concept of a house and also peoples emotional attachment to a place,” she said.
“You have to love working with people and understand their needs and what it means to them to move, to know what they want.”
Ms Ginn said there’s an extreme sense of satisfaction in helping people move houses.
