Two men allegedly stole a ute from a mechanic and tried to break into a bottle shop in central Victoria.
Police are investigating two alleged commercial burglaries in Kyneton in October and have released images of an unknown caucasian pair caught on CCTV.
It is believed the duo got into a mechanic on Mollison Pl about 1am on October 13 and stole a ute from a motor yard.
They allegedly fled the business in the ute, colliding with a parked car on Ward St and damaging a nearby letterbox, fence, and water meter before ditching the allegedly stolen vehicle.
Two days later, it is believed the same men tried to gain access to a bottle shop on High St about 4am.
They were unsuccessful and left empty-handed.
At the mechanics, one man was wearing a large dark jacket with hood, dark coloured pants, and dark coloured shoes.
The other wore a dark puffer jacket with a light hooded jumper underneath, dark coloured pants, dark coloured shoes, and a white face covering.
At the bottle shop, one was wearing a brown coloured jacket with a light hooded jumper underneath, dark denim jeans, dark coloured shoes, and a red face covering, whereas the other was in a dark jacket with hood, dark coloured pants, dark coloured shoes, a red face covering, and wore a single red glove.
