Pair charged after police find allegedly stolen car, tools at Wendouree home

A 24-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman will face Ballarat court after police discovered allegedly stolen jewellery, tools, and a car at a Wendouree home.

A Ballarat duo have been charged as part of a police investigation into aggravated burglaries, car thefts, and dangerous driving offences.

An 18-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man were arrested after Ballarat police carried out a warrant in Wendouree on Wednesday.

A search of the Lorikeet Place property about 10.25am uncovered various allegedly stolen items including tools, jewellery, clothing, number plates, and a Volkswagen Touareg.

The woman was charged with burglary and will face Ballarat Magistrates’ Court on October 14.

The man faces charges of theft of motor vehicle, burglary, attempted aggravated burglary, reckless conduct endangering persons, and other offences.

He will appear at court on Thursday.
