Kobie Parfitt: Renee Bridget Reynolds faces court charged with Ballarat mum’s murder
A woman has faced court over the alleged murder of Ballarat mum Kobie Parfitt.

A woman accused of murdering Ballarat mother Kobie Parfitt has faced court.
Renee Bridget Reynolds, 31, has been charged with murdering Ms Parfitt, whose body was found in an abandoned mineshaft near Snake Valley, west of Ballarat.
Charge sheets allege that Ms Reynolds murdered Ms Parfitt on April 28 last year.
Wearing a black jumper, she faced the Ballarat Magistrates’ Court from the police cells via video link for a brief hearing on Friday and was remanded in custody.
Ms Reynolds, from the Ballarat suburb of Mount Clear, did not make an application for bail.
Detectives charged her over the death on Thursday.
She will return to court with her three co-accused for committal mention in May.
Wendouree man Brendon James Prestage, 31, is also alleged to have murdered Ms Parfitt in April last year.
A 32-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man have also both been charged with her murder.
The 43-year-old Ms Parfitt was last seen alive at a house in Hickman Street.
