Jewellery and bags worth $100k stolen from Daylesford shop

“Unique” jewellery and designer bags worth $100,000 have been stolen from a Daylesford shop.

Items worth $100,000 were stolen from a Daylesford jewellery shop last month.

Police are appealing to the public for information about the burglary on Vincent St, believed to have occurred about 3.40am on February 27.

Once inside the premises, an offender smashed display cases and stole jewellery and designer bags worth $100,000, police said.

“Most of the items stolen are unique and easily identifiable,” they said.

“Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity on Vincent St or who has been offered jewellery for sale.”
