Police have identified a driver who was killed after a car crashed into a tree at Rokewood, on the outskirts of Ballarat, before it caught fire.

Police have identified the second person killed on roads across Ballarat this week.
Police believe a car crashed into a tree on Rokewood-Skipton Road, near Mill Road, before it caught fire about 9.20am on Thursday.
The driver and sole occupant of the car sadly died at the scene.
She has since been identified as a 34-year-old Jan Juc woman.
Police are still investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the crash and the investigation is ongoing.
The rural two lane carriageway where the crash occurred is a sealed road, located south of Ballarat.
It was the ninth life lost on roads around Ballarat — in the City of Ballarat, Hepburn, Moorabool, Golden Plains and Pyrenees shires — this year.
