Ballarat mother wins $2.14m TattsLotto from ticket given as Christmas present
A Ballarat mum who has become more than $2m richer thanks to a TattsLotto ticket given to her for Christmas has revealed how she’ll spend the cash.

A west Victorian mum, who has won more than $2m in the Tattslotto, plans to pay off her mortgage and buy her husband a new tractor.
The Ballarat winner of the weekend’s division one draw was given a ticket for Christmas by her son, and discovered her good fortune after reading the prize had gone unclaimed.
“I remembered that I was gifted a TattsLotto ticket from my son for Christmas, and I thought I’d give it a bell,” she said.
“I haven’t told my son yet because I wanted to confirm if it was true, and oh my god, it is! I wasn’t expecting this at all.
“... I’ll definitely pay off the house. That will be the first thing I’ll do.
“My husband wants a new tractor, so I’ll get that.”
The winning entry was purchased at Lucas Gifts & Lotto.
Shop manager Colleen Porter said there a great buzz in her store after selling its second division one winner in three years.
“A big congratulations to the winner and what a time to win in the Megadraw,” she said.
“We hope the winner spends it wisely and now will be able to do what they have always dreamed of.”
