An amateur Ballarat photographer has captured country Victoria in a series of breathtaking snaps. See the gallery.

Amateur Ballarat photographer Jarrod Andrews has captured a series of stunning snaps from across country Victoria.

The part-time photographer and part-time gym owner, JROD Captures will use 12 images from travelling regional Victoria to form a 2022 calendar with a mix of landscape, drone, astro and underwater shots.

Andrews, 35, takes photos as a hobby when he’s not running his gym, JROD Fitness in Ballarat.

“I've always been creative and I did graphic design in uni, but I didn’t want to sit in front of a computer,” Andrews said.

“It started off as a family and friend thing, but in the last year or two it’s built up and I did 200 odd calendars this year.

“I’m always outdoors and in these really beautiful places which drew me to take these photos. It’s nice to take some photos back.”
