A man in his 50s who allegedly performed gross sex acts near kids in the Ballarat region, on multiple occasions, has been charged.

A man who allegedly exposed himself to children as young as 10 and performed sex acts in front of them near Ballarat will face court.
Ballarat detectives charged a Brown Hill man on Thursday afternoon in relation to a series of alleged lewd acts across Ballarat East and Wendouree.
Police allege the 50-year-old man exposed himself and performed a sexual act in the presence of others, including children, between 10 April and 6 May.
On four occasions, it was allegedly done in front of kids aged 10 to 14.
Police arrested the man at an Invermay Park address and charged him with direct sexual activity at another, seven counts of sexual activity in the presence of a child, and one count of stalking.
He was remanded to appear at Ballarat Magistrates’ Court on Friday morning.
