Ballarat school pupil flown to Melbourne hospital in critical condition

A child was flown to hospital in Melbourne after falling over at a Ballarat school on Wednesday afternoon.
Camp Australia, which runs out-of-school-hours programs, confirmed a child at Pleasant Street Primary School slipped and fell while playing soccer during vacation care.
Staff called Triple-0 and performed CPR until emergency services arrived.
Ambulance Victoria said paramedics were called to the incident about 2.45pm and treated a primary school boy at the scene.
The young boy was flown to the Royal Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.
On Thursday, the hospital said he was stable.
Camp Australia said it was touch with the child’s family.
