St Ali coffee will help you get the day started, while Crepes for Change will provide food for thought — with 100 per cent of profits going to fight youth homelessness in Australia.

Acai bowls from Ubatooba and fare from Kraken Squid and Primo Pizza, will also be on offer at the market, as well as live entertainment and a fully licensed bar.

Event organiser Jordan O’Neill said the fresh offering was part of the new market management team’s vision to keep the old vibe rolling while injecting a modern twist.

“If you’ve been to the Alma Park Market before, you know what the go is,” he said.

“You’ll see kids running around looking for some ice cream … you’ll have the couple on their first date deciding which toastie to have or share.
