Two men have been taken to hospital after a minibus crash in Victoria’s north.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to Snow Rd in Oxley at about 7.20am on Tuesday, after a triple-0 caller reported a tree branch had fallen on a moving bus.

A Fire Rescue Victoria spokeswoman said all passengers had safely exited the vehicle, and debris had been removed from the road.

“Firefighters arrived to the Snow Rd scene to find a minibus had crashed,” she said.

“Fire Rescue Victoria and Country Fire Authority crews worked quickly at the scene to make it safe.”

An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said multiple people had been assessed at the scene for minor injuries and two men were taken to hospital.

“No one appears to be in a critical condition at this stage,” she said.

Two men, believed to be in their 20s, suffered lacerations and were taken to Northeast Wangaratta Hospital in a stable condition.”

The bus had been travelling from Glenrowan towards Oxley when the incident occurred, according to Victoria Police.

“The branch snapped off and dropped onto the roof of the vehicle causing it to crumple,” a olice spokeswoman said.

One lane of Snow Rd was closed as emergency services worked to clear the area.

A cold front moved across Victoria on Monday, leading to a number of warnings.

Weather alerts have been issued for the Wangaratta area with minor flooding on the Ovens, King and Buffalo Rivers.

“Rainfall totals of 15-30 mm are forecast during Monday into Tuesday across the catchment which are likely to cause renewed river level rises and may lead to further areas of minor flooding,” the emergency alert reads.

Several roads in the area, including Great Alpine Rd, have been closed due to flooding.
