Kaye Ferguson: Mulwala Water Ski Club fraud accused faces Corowa Local Court
A Victorian woman who allegedly defrauded a Mulwala sporting club out of more than $1.1 million, has faced court.

A 58-year-old woman accused of defrauding the Mulwala Water Ski Club of $1.1 million has faced court.
Kaye Leanne Ferguson appeared briefly in Corowa Local Court on March 17, after being charged with 27 counts of dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception.
Police will allege Ms Ferguson, who was employed as the financial officer at Mulwala Water Ski Club, transferred more than $1.1 million from the club to multiple offshore bank accounts between December 2020 and January 2021.
Officers started an investigation after the sports club reported anomalies in financial records.
Ms Ferguson was arrested and taken to Mulwala police station on February 2.
Ms Ferguson’s defence solicitor Mark Rosalky spoke on her behalf in court, with the brief documents to be served by April 28.
Ms Ferguson’s bail is to continue, and she will appear back in Corowa Local Court on May 19.
