Albury crime: Police officer suffers fractures following alleged assault
Authorities have charged a third man after an alleged police assault which left an officer with facial fractures.

A third man has been charged after a police officer was left with facial fractures after he was knocked unconscious in an alleged assault on the NSW-Victoria border.
It is alleged the officer was taken to the ground and kicked in the face when authorities separated two other men involved in a physical altercation on Dean St, Albury on Saturday night.
All three men then are alleged to have fled the scene on foot.
The male senior constable was taken to Albury Base Hospital in a serious condition with facial fractures and a head injury.
The two men allegedly involved in the physical altercation were arrested a short time later.
The third man charged, a 20-year-old Albury man, will face court today on one count of affray.
Previously, a 20-year-old Wodonga man who was charged with causing grievous bodily harm to a person with intent to resist arrest was denied bail on Sunday and will again face court on Tuesday.
A 22-year-old Albury man was charged with affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Albury Local Court on Monday, November 1.
